Although I have worked mostly as a software developer, I have a solid background in graphic arts, and a passion for producing compelling imagery with a purpose. Farmers markets present an abundance of exciting visual content - a rainbow of food and people, the contrast of sunny lawns with shady canopies, and - in a market like ours - vibrant natural surroundings. For the last four years I have been telling the story of our local farmers market with pictures and graphics.
The concepts and execution of these graphics are all mine, and I captured most of the content on my cellphone. I did post-processing with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, with an occasional bit of public domain clip art, Canva element, logo, or image used with permission.
Currently I am available for freelance web and graphic design work, and would be particularly glad to work with a non-profit organization, educational institution, government entity, or a public benefit company. Also, I have over a decade of professional experience in software engineering, with expertise in Node.js, Typescript, MongoDB, Angular, and AWS. If you would like a copy of my resume, send me a quick message via this contact form. Enjoy these scenes, and be sure to visit Carnation Farmers Market next June!
