Community Leadership
When our local farmers market faced permanent closure in 2020 during the pandemic, I led the volunteer effort to establish a new 501(c)(3) organization to preserve this community tradition and expand public benefit and charitable programs. Thanks to a dedicated, vibrant community, Carnation Farmers Market is experiencing the highest attendance and vendor sales in its 20 year history. In 2023 I received Empower Youth Network's Rise and Shine Award for Outstanding Community Volunteerism for this inititative.
Learn more about Carnation Farmers Market
As founder and board president of Carnation Farmers Market, I've used technology to boost fundraising and public engagement, including writing a mobile web app for the market's Kids Club, and AI-based software for managing communications with sponsors. Recognizing that these tools could help other organizations, I founded AI tech startup Philanthrobots LLC to amplify the impact of non-profits and charities.
Graphic Arts & Marketing
With a solid background in multimedia arts and graphic design, I have led Carnation Farmers Market's marketing campaigns and created the majority of images and videos seen on the market's Facebook and Instagram pages, and email newsletter for the last five years.
Videos
As a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, multimedia artist, and graphic designer, I'm always exploring new means of artistic self-expression. Here is an original music video.
We have partnered with plants and robots to create consumable art and carbon dioxide. Goodbye to the Beard was produced with cellphone video, AI generated media, and original prompts and lyrics. Tools included: Adobe Premiere, PowerDirector, Adobe Photoshop, Luma, Flora AI, DALL-E, Audacity, Udio, Suno, and countless software plugins. Copyright Team Gilliam.

Making and listening to music are lifelong passions of mine. Here are a few electronic music tracks I recently created.
Using Audacity for editing, mixing, and mastering, I mashed up content generated by Udio from my original lyrics and custom prompts, with organically recorded music and sounds, to create these tracks.
